Ms. McMillen is an Ohio native that has made the Pittsburgh region her home since 2001. Ms. McMillen is the owner of McMillen Law Office and partner in the law office of Popojas & McMillen. Ms. McMillen received her B.A. in Political Science in 2001 from Mount Union College in Alliance, Ohio and her J.D. in 2004 from the Duquesne University School of Law in Pittsburgh, PA. She is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and the Western District of Pennsylvania (Federal Court). She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, Allegheny County Bar Association, and the East Suburban Networkers.
Ms. McMillen’s areas of practice are focused mainly in Estate Planning & Administration, Real Estate Assessment Appeals, corporate formation, residential & commercial real estate closings & title review, residential and commercial leasing preparation and negotiations and bankruptcy law. Ms. McMillen has extensive experience in Assessment Appeals and handled hundreds of cases during the 2013 Allegheny County Reassessment and 2016 Washington County Reassessment.
Ms. McMillen served several years on the Executive Board of the Monroeville Rotary Club. Ms. McMillen has participated in various charity events including Rotary Club of Monroeville, Variety, The Children's Charity, and a Habitat for Humanity build in Chile. Ms. McMillen is the 2014-2015 recipient of the Rotary Club of Monroeville, Rotarian of the Year. In her free time, Ms. McMillen enjoys traveling both abroad and domestically, and attending various events around the Pittsburgh area. She currently lives in Forest Hills with her husband Chris and their cat Petey.
Chris is a Pittsburgh native and 2004 graduate of the University of Pittsburgh. Chris's expertise is in estate planning and deeds. He is also a licensed PA Notary. Chris enjoys assisting clients in all matters big or small.
